Disney World Has a Huge Selection
Of Merchandise
Souvenirs, clothes, toys,
art, household furnishings—everything
enchantingly Disney and of superb quality--is
available in shops at the parks, resorts, and
Downtown Disney. While you will see repeat Disney
merchandise at different shops, each has its
unique items, so if you see something you really
like, buy it now. If you are a Disney Resort
guest and buy something at the park, you can
have the item sent to your hotel so you don't
have to carry it all day.
Downtown
Disney is a shopper's paradise. Start
with World of Disney for the
most unique Disney items you'll ever see in
one place...decorate a Christmas tree, dress
a princess, choose a refrigerator magnet, outfit
a safari complete with stuffed animals, buy
matching shirts for the whole family, start
a collection. You can buy a souvenir for less
than a dollar—most of the coin presses
cost 50¢ or 75¢ + your own penney.
If you have a yen for a Pal Mickey—that's
the talking toy that gives you messages and
trivia in the theme parks—buy him here
for $65 rather than $88 on the Internet.
One store the young children
will love is LEGO Imagination Center.
You'll find little ones sprawled on the floor
creating their own Lego images. Every kind of
Lego toy imaginable is here. Adults will be
amazed at the super Lego structures on display.
For Mom and Dad, go to Once Upon a Toy
where you'll find the favorite toys of your
childhood stil for sale.
On a budget? Try Mickey's
Mart. Every item in the store is under
$10. My boys loved the Buzz Lightyear Space
Ranger toy, and we had $6.99 fun guessing the
contents of the mystery grab bag. Budding magicians
will learn new tricks at Magic Masters.

Shopping
hours at Downtown Disney are 9:30 am to 11:00
pm. It's a great place to spend your first partial
day in Orlando.
On a relaxation day between
busy park days, we enjoy walking through the
different Disney resorts and checking out their
stores, each of which has some unique themed
Disney merchandise. When we are at the theme
parks, we limit our shopping time as there are
more attractions than time available.
