2012
January 1-January 8, 2012: Festival of the Seasons, Downtown Disney. Take in holiday décor, live entertainment and shopping.


January 5-8: Disney’s Marathon Weekend, presented by Cigna. Events include:
Disney World Marathon Walt Disney World Marathon Relay Walt Disney World Half Marathon Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge Disney Family Fun Run 5K Disney Kids’ Races Pasta in the Park Party Disney’s Health & Fitness Expo Details.


February 24-26: Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, Epcot, Magic Kingdom features a 5K, kids’ race and a health & fitness expo. Registration is open.
March 3-April 2: Atlanta Braves Spring Training, ESPN Wide World of Sports. Catch some major league action and see how the rookies are doing. Catch one of the 18 home games.


Star Wars Weekends, Hollywood Studios
May 18-20 May 25-27 June 1-3 June 8-10
The weekends have been a big hit with fans of the Star Wars series, and offer special shows, character appearances, and memorabilia. Guests often dress up as characters.
June 10-July 28: Sounds Like Summer Concert Series, Epcot World Showcase American Gardens Theatre. Recreate the classic hits of legendary musical icons with talented tribute bands.


September 7 and 8: Night of Joy, Magic Kingdom. This is a ticketed after-hours event featuring contemporary inspirational music groups. Friday, September 7: Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, needtobreathe, Red, Francesca Battistelli, Brandon Heath, Royal Tailor, Disciple Saturday, September 8: MercyMe, Third Day, Kutless, Chris August, Lecrae and Thousand Foot Krutch Event hours are 7:30 pm to 1 am. Many popular rides and attractions are open during the event. Tickets will go on sale in the spring and may be purchased for one or two nights. Groups of 10 or more receive special benefits. Tickets and information are available at www.nightofjoy.com. This is the 30th year of the event.


September 29: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler event, Hollywood Studios.


September 28-November 11: Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, World Showcase. Your Epcot park admission gets you into events like International kiosks featuring tastings of foods from around the world, cooking demonstrations, and musical performances. Additional ticketed events are available for cooking and dining events (including celebrity chefs) and wine tastings.


November 9-10: Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend.


November 9-11: Festival of the Masters, Downtown Disney. Over 150 award-winning artists display at this open-air art festival. Purchase one-of-a-kind artwork and enjoy other unique shopping opportunities. There will be hands-on activities for guests of all ages, and musical performances.
