Winter 2006 at Disney World

Throughout the year, Disney
World offers special events at their different
theme parks.
September 8 and 9: Nights of Joy at the Magic
Kingdom featuring top-name Christian contemporary
music performers (after park closes). MercyMe,
Casting Crowns, Kirk Franklin and TobyMac head
the list. Tickets available now. Advance purchase
discount for single days.
September 15, 22, 29/October 2, 5, 6, 10, 12,
16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30, 31: Mickey’s
Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom.

Sept. 15, 22, 29/Oct. 2, 5, 6, 10, 12, 16, 17,
19, 20, 23, 24, 26.
September 29–November 12: Epcot Food and
Wine Festival. Future world and world showcase
will feature great food, wine and beer. Tapas-sized
protions of regional specialties will be offered.
Enjoy daily seminars. Programs feature renowned
winemakers, guest chefs, cooking schools, and
elegant dinners.
October 19-22: Funai Classic Golf Event
November 10-12: Festival of the Masters. Over
200 artists will display their work at Downtown
Disney West Side. Fun for children too.
November: ABC Super Soap Weekend. Dates to be
announced.
November: Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights.
Dates to be announced.
November: Holidays Around the World. Dates to
be announced.
November 13, 17, 27, 28, 30/December 1, 4, 5,
7, 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 18, 19, 21, 22: Mickey’s
Very Merry Christmas Party. Tickets available

November 24-December 30: Candlelight Processional
at Epcot. Performances included in regular admission
charge.
December 31: Atlantic Dance Hall New Year’s
Eve at Disney’s BoardWalk. Dancing to
tunes from the ‘80s and 90’s. Only
for guests 21 and over. Tickets go on sale at
noon Dec. 31.
December 31: Pleasure Island New Year’s
Eve. Enjoy live music, entertainment, and dancing.
Only for guests 21 and over.
December 31: New Year’s Eve at Cirque
du Soleil in Downtown Disney. La Nouba by Cirque
du Soleil has special finale created just for
this event.
January 5-6, 2007: Marathon Weekend. Full marathon,
half marathon, family fun races, health and
fitness expo. Register for your race spot.
